A few years back, I had the pleasure of going on photo-walks with friends and recording these on video. In each episode (I made a few for the blog I wrote at the time), we'd pull an unknown challenge from the challenge box, head out with our cameras to find something that met the call, and find ourselves visiting and sharing our perspectives about photography and other things as we walked. Each walkabout was an interesting and informative experience. And, we always had a blast—even if the challenges vexed us. I still appreciate both the friends and family that participated and the time we spent making those videos. It's one of the matterful things in my life.
Which brings me to the following throwback from 2009:
After watching it again—it's been awhile since I've watched these—I've started to think about how I might bring this sort of thing back into my life. It was just so much fun!
