Welcome to the Supplies Manager
Hello and welcome to the Supplies Manager—a tool I (Liz Ness) made for my own memory keeping projects and thought you might enjoy, too!
What is the Supplies Manager?
Well, together with the My Stash tool, the Manager is a library of memory keeping supplies—all custom selected by you from our growing pile of supplies, here at Photos+Words. To add/remove supplies from My Stash, click the Supplies Manager tab (above).
It's Full of Options
Many of the items in the library come in both Print-and-Cut and Digital versions. Likewise, many items come in multiple sizes. As for the patterned/textured "papers" they are available in a digital 12x12 format and a print-and-cut letter-sized format (PDF).
But, Printable Supplies Are Challenging
It can be a tricky thing to print digital supplies. Depending on your printer, the color—especially red—may print differently than expected. Every printer is different. So are the inks. Which means your output could vary—even from printer to printer.
A Bit of Help
Even though results may vary, I wanted to help us all make decisions about what patterned/textured papers might work best for our projects. So, the patterned images (for a single pattern and a collection of patterns) include a peek into what the printed output looks like (using my printer and favorite paper).
My Printer & Paper
For the images, I used an HP OfficeJet 5740 series printer set to Best mode for Other Glossy Papers, but I used Neenah Bright White cardstock for the actual paper loaded in the printer.
I hope you enjoy using the My Stash and Supplies Manager tools. And, I can't wait to see what you create!
